Willie Nelson’s upcoming beer, Willie’s Remedy, is partnering with the Tom Petty estate to make a charitable donation. The company will donate 10% of all sales from their newly released cannabis nugget-inspired can for seven years.
Dana Petty is the daughter of Tom Petty and has been an advocate for cannabis legalization since her father’s death. Dana has teamed up with Willie’s Remedy to create a charitable collaboration that will help fund research into medical marijuana.
Willie’s Remedy, a hemp-based health brand created in honor of Willie Nelson and Annie Nelson, two trailblazing musicians and activists, today announced its first-ever partnership with Tom Petty’s estate to introduce a limited-edition Wildflowers Tea. The alliance was established by the families of the great musicians as a tribute to Tom Petty’s life, American music, and the virtues and health advantages of CBD.
Annie Nelson, a co-founder of Willie’s Remedy, noted that hemp “offers a soothing approach to build on a natural health regimen.” “The connections that may be made when we share the culture of cannabis and music are shown by Wildflowers Tea.”
MusiCares®, a nonprofit organization that offers health and human assistance to those working in the music business, will get a portion of the proceeds from each sale of Wildflowers Tea. Tom Petty was voted MusiCares® Person of the Year in 2017.
Adria Petty said, “My father supported MusiCares’ purpose. “Working together with our two families, who have so much mutual respect for both generations of listeners and admirers, is a dream come true.”
Known for its digestive properties, Wildflowers Tea is a botanical brew made from entire chamomile flowers, lemon myrtle flowers, and peppermint leaves. The tea, which is blended with full-spectrum hemp extract from small-to-midsize independent U.S. farms, is available in disposable pyramid bags and loose leaf.
Online retailers williesremedy.com/wildflowers and store.tompetty.com both sell Wildflowers Tea.
Concerning Willie’s Remedy
A line of hemp-based health products called Willie’s Remedy was created in honor of pioneering singer and activist Willie Nelson and his wife, Annie Nelson. The full-spectrum hemp oil extract utilized in the non-intoxicating Willie’s Remedy hemp-infused products comes from American farmers’ organically farmed crops. The brand’s first product, a hemp-infused coffee, will be released in 2019. Other goods, such as tinctures, confections, vaporizable hemp oils, and topicals, are also under development. Willie’s Remedy offers customers convenient methods to obtain the health benefits of hemp while bringing together the Nelson family’s dedication to assisting American farmers and environmental responsibility. Willie’s Remedy has joined sibling company Willie’s Reserve, a range of THC-infused cannabis products with a separate license.
